wish I could help you out. Can you call my wife and tell her I have to work until Sunday? This requires the ability to impersonate a 40-something Southern woman on the phone.

Wayne
02-01-2008, 12:04 AM
Yea, I have a van. I have no place to stay but if you or someone can allow me to crash, then I can go to the show. If not, I am not going to go. I do have to be back at work in Seattle on Tuesday so I will need to drive back some time on monday.

Portland is a great city to visit. Y'all are going to have a great time.
We've just seen a 2008 North American Handmade Bicycle Show transportation success story in this thread! :)

Is there any more room in that van for another Seattleite. I was going to drive but would rather go with a group. I can help with gas and what ever else we would need.

Hey Wayne, me and someone else on the forum are sharing a room at the Red Lion and a third is camping out on the floor. I'll see if a fourth isnt going to be a problem in trade for round trip transportation provided by you.

Yo everybody, Been lurking this forum forever so this is my first post. Going to Portland on fri alone with my gas guzzling suv so if you're stuck without wheels or need a non alcohol drinking designated driver I'm for hire as long as I have a corner to crash. Cheer's, Gacy

hey we can have a real party thursday. I have a couple stripper friends from OR that are in Seattle this week. They need a ride back to Portland and wanted to know if they could come. We all know how good strippers are in OR, for 10 bucks you never know where you can put your finger. We can all party at wayne on thursday and drive down friday.

Hey dudes, It's me again, the big G. I got the wheels to get us there also but here's the hitch. My homie Tino was supposed to come over to help me disable or temporarily remove my ankle monitor so I can cross the state line. Now he's MIA and won't return my call's. Do any of youse fella's have that kind of knowhow? If I get caught over there it's back to the clink and lurker mode for awhile. We cant join any forums on the inside but we can look. Im really looking forward to the lowrider turnout at the show. GACY

Van Deferen
02-02-2008, 09:06 PM
You can try Vaseline to get it off. You can cut it off. Or you can bribe your probie. I used to give mine a Benjamin and go away all the time.

gacy
02-02-2008, 09:16 PM
Big G here, the vasaline will work but I need a buddie to do the pulling while I hold something secure. If the bracelet doesn't move alittle they will asume its off and come looking so maybe I can attach it to my pitbulls belly while its chained up outside.

Van Deferen
02-02-2008, 09:30 PM
A pit bull might chew it off. How come you're wearing an ankle monitor in the first place?

Wayne
02-02-2008, 09:30 PM
Van Deferen, you and Gacy seem to have alot in common. Gacy, why the bracelet? If it is for theft, I am looking for a 60 or 61 cm dura ace bike from the show.

gacy
02-02-2008, 09:38 PM
I was involved in a matter that doesn't concern nobody. It was a setup to begin with and if it weren't for some crooked cops I'd be going to the show!

John13
02-02-2008, 09:48 PM
I'll take a 58cm record bike, preferably a Vanilla, but others will do. I'll make it worth your while
