'07 vs. '08 Campy Record UT Crank???

Well, going to treat myself this season by upgrading my '06 Record group with the new UT crank.

Looking at prices, I notice a huge difference between '07 and '08 prices (see competitive cyclist vs Lickbike). So, this begs the question WHY? Did campy change something with their '08 design vs. '07?

Any body have any info or a POV on this topic?

2008 Campy prices are up, paid for in Euros with the USA dollar down 20-30% from last year.

Cranks are exactly the same as last year.
