Thanks to one of the forumites I am the proud owner of a pair of SSC tubular rims, 28 hole.

I have also manage to track down a Record 10 speed rear hub, in 28 hole. The back wheel will soon be underway.

I need a hub for the front wheel. One of the local shops has a 28 hole Dura Ace front, which I could use. Impressively light. Any other choices? Does anyone know where I might find a Record 28 , front hub??

These wheels will be destined for a new frame I have coming and I am looking for a "road worthy" 25 or 28 tubular tire.

I can find the Vittoria Pave CG in 24 mm; there is a diamond tread patterned Tufo in 25. I think I saw a Veloflex in 25.

Anyone know of, and where they could be found, a decent tubular in 27 / 28 / maybe even 30???

Leads appreciated, Thanks.

Thank you, Pave's in a 27, nice.

$120 / tire - > Holy Crap!

Probably last a long time though.

Ok, as nice as I know the 27's would ride.

$30 more per tire than the 24's.

Will the ride of the 24's be that much worse?
