So I for one am glad to see Slipstream go big and become the #1 U.S. team yada yada. They seem to represent the good thats out there in cycling, or at least to me they give that off. The only issue I see with them is do they have a finisher? Dont get me wrong, Dean and Backstedt are monsters but I dont see that guy with the killer punch to get them flat or rolly type wins? They have climbers and can put together one of the scaryest Team TT sqauds ever, but I dont see any punchy fast finishers on the sqaud and I hope that does not make them too one dimensional? So let me know if I am missing something? Other than say Roubaix, what classic type races are they going to be a threat in? Even as Grand tours go they no doubt can ride high in the GC but I dont see a throat slasher.
