I'm looking to purchase new handlebars. I do most of my riding on the hoods, so like the idea of a slightly flat area above the hoods for extra comfort. Anyone have a similar riding position and bars they really like?

Thanks.

Look at the Bontrager Flat Top bars at your Trek dealer.

this topic has been discussed quite a bit in the past. It depends on if you use Campy (or SRAM) or Shimano shifters/brake levers and also depends on if you like ergo, traditional, or the newer 'compact' style bars. I can tell you that Shimano 10 speed generation brifters are a bit tougher to get that smooth transition from tops to hoods unless you really 'roll up your bars' (but then the drops are WAY angled downward!). Deda makes a SuperNatural bar that is designed to work well w/STI and Bontrager, FSA, and now a few others make compact style bars that seem to work well w/STI's too. I have the Bontrager Race Lite OS VR bars w/my STI's and so far, so good.
