Cyclist's timing couldn't have been much better: click here and scroll to bottom for video (http://www.showmecables.com/humpdayspecials.asp)

Idiot driver has almost impeccable timing

Looks like a bit of video trickery to me.

What about the cars that really were fortunate? The cyclist made it in plenty of time relative to the cars that almost were obliterated.

Me too
Speeded up?

Holy crap! I don't think that was sped up, everything else was consistent. Wow....

Sorry, if it sounds/looks too good to be true...

How would that be faked? The moving traffic even stopped after he went through, not like they never saw him...

Isn't it Fixed that says something to the effect of "If it's and inch it's a mile"?

I keep repeating that to myself when I'm out there.

The reaction time of the guy in the black Nissan SUV is amazing. If he didn't brake, this would've ended a lot different! Amazing.

I watched that half a dozen times. I still cannot believe it. Whoa.

Do you see how the pedestrians stop in their tracks. They can't believe what just happened either.

Wow.

Gezz,
That same scenario happened to me. I almost T-boned an SUV. The 'vette on my left and I had our tires screeching trying to stop while the SUV zoomed inches in front of us. And we had the green light.

That's what I thought too, like the Specialized add with the bike/police chase, but pedestrians, cars, etc. all reacted to the car running the light. If it's fake, it's very good.

Looks like a bit of video trickery to me.

Wow.

My wife and I watched it half a dozen times too; because she didn't get it. :argue: Until I explained it to her. Mesmorizing to say the least.
