This is a classic.

Riding home and the titanium rail on the right side of my saddle snaps and falls to the ground. Get home and the seat post clamp won't open to remove said saddle. Unscrew seat post binder bolt and post won't slide out of seat tube. Arrhhhhhhhhh!!!! :crap: :crap: :crap:

Would anyone be able to suggest what is most effective at overcoming such a problem?. The seat tube is alu and the seat post is steel. I need the worlds most powerful anti-seizing solution. What would you recommend? If the brand you have in mind happens not to be readily available in England would you please name the active ingredient(s) so that I can find something similar over here.

Did you hear the one about the Greek athletes and the motorbike at midnight? Did Homer ever write a better 'story'? ;)

This was discussed a couple months ago - Ahneida did seem to be the expert.

When was the last time you broke this stuff apart and greased it?

You naughty boy! ;) I agree with the others . . . do a search. It was a pretty lengthy thread, if I remember correctly.
