I almost get the feeling Davis is enjoying Taylor's success even more than his own.

This kid is something VERY special.

Pettit and I were among the crowd last night at the UCI World Cup Track races last night that were fortunate to witness Taylor's race.

I was there this afternoon briefly and saw Mr. and Mrs. Brunk.

Track Racing = Great spectator sport!

I'm a huge LeMond fan.....but just out of interest, why do you think Taylor hasn't got the same talent?

He currently can't out climb his teammates. I want to be wrong and have him become the next Indurain.

I'd be happy with an American Boonen.

At 17, Taylor is a work in progress. According to Road Bike Action Magazine's January/February 2008 issue, his first race was a local crit in March 2006. IMO ... Give him some time, experience, the guidance, good coaching, and he's going to blossom into a wonderful champion we can be proud of.

Gotta love his website too.....One day he races P-R Espoirs, the next he's taking pictures of the pros like any other starstruck fan.
