A very fine bunny, Mr. Brequet. But rabbits are not rodents. They are voyagers from outer space who have landed among us & fill our lives with joy.

A dingle-pal has taken up winter residence under our shed.
He/she comes out at night to eat from under the bird feeders.
Our golden retriever finds this infinitely fascinating. She keeps trying to catch dingle-pal, in a good-natured sort of way, thus far to no avail.
Dingle-pal and I are buddies for now.
When my garden is planted in the spring that might change. Especially if Dingle-pal has a litter of little Dingle-berries.
I'll be looking for a good rabbit stew recipe.
Anyone?

Why? Because you are just a loaf of mediocre bread.

These were normally not in their cages. Unfortunately, these are the only digital pics I have of Meite and Surimutz. Both have gone off to the big meadow in the sky. Surimutz was the smallest one, but one helluva a feisty mofo!

I know. They're not rodents...... But most people think they are.

I wish I had digital pics of the other two we had.

Don't most diseased beavers come from Amsterdam?

Shino: I am not bread. My avatar indicates that I am a viking, a norse god. Careful or we'll call a raiding party on yer arses over there on the West coast.
Nothing fun about opening up a can of whoop-pillage on the hamlet of Portland.

You all are great. You have come through with the "post your favorite rodent" thread.
Anything is possible, anything.

Technically, is Spencer a rodent?

Hmmm...that's right Roman Meal has a Roman on it, not a Viking. It's too bad the Romans didn't make it farther north and exterminate your barbaric kin.
Don't threaten Portland or me. We simit eating Turks can lay down some serious arrows and woop-***.

Who can forget the enchanting minx of a rodent, the columbian ground squirrel?

Shino: We vikings have aligned with the Boston Mafia and stevep. I have a friend who can can call that actor up that was the leader of the Spartans in 300, so we're going to set sail. Expect the first raiding party in about six months, if the Panama Canal isn't too busy..

That guy was an underwear model and nothing more. I bet he couldn't throw a javelin through a cardboard box. Your Avatar indicates you got lost on the way back from your fraternal order of plastic helmet wearing drunks, and found a gaybar.
By the way SteveP and I are pals, like Bert and Ernie.
P.S. Check out my avatar.

shino,
roman is on the way out and he's angry.
i just saw him at the bus stop in durham.
last night he took some deposit bottles out of my recycling so i know he's funded...
can you forward to him how he can get to yr house on public transportation?
last time he went to pillage a guy in nyc he ended up in st louis....w/ no return ticket...
its not easy pillaging these days when you dont have a car.
its doubly hard getting an ax and a broadsword on the bus these days.

Thanks steve. It's not easy these days. I usually pick up my siege weapons at the site of the pillage these days. Shino: Canyou direct me to a source of seige weapons in Portland for the seige of your house and family? Thanks-

Roman.

PS: A mug just might let you off the hook. This time. I went to Pooch's house and broke the handle off of his mug.

Freddy Roman was a Jewish comedian dressed as a Roman.

Brooks of course, Mostel obviously, Sid Cesar sometimes...a long and noble drag routine, independent of the Jewish gladiator movies.

If you really broke SteveP's mug I'll come to NH with Rambo the Squirrel, and turn your confused, historically inaccurate drunken self into swiss cheese. YOU and your band of merry "play_acting" men will starve and be forced to eat candles and rats if you attempt a sea voyage around South America (don't forget the limes.) Portland it too far to drive in an old Pinto hatchback btw. It will also explode when you accidentally back it up into one of our many uber-hip bike-racks.
Flux, Shimano isn't worth spelling right. Also my date lives next door. :)

Well Mrs. Breguet says they're rodents, and that's good enough for me. Besides, no one can be as nice as his/her Lagomorph.

Well, our dear Lord Nelson passed on to the great wheel-in-the-sky about 18 months ago.

whatever happened to felching? you just don't hear about it anymore.

many years ago, i worked with richard gere on some shoot and asked him about the felching... hes aid it was all a rumor started by sly stallone in response to something gere had said about his acting.

which was cool until a wild gerbile launched out of his a88 and ran away.
timing is everything.
