SRAM Rival rear derailleur

The SRAM web site lists the Red and Force rear derailleurs as being able to handle 'Max tooth 28T'. The Rival is listed at 'Max tooth 27T'.

Is there a design difference in the Rival that limits it to 27T? Has anyone used the 11-28 OG-1070 cassette with a Rival derailleur?

I have little doubt it will work fine. Seriously. I think the dimensions of all the SRAM ders are the same.
