Has anyone tried these? Do they shift well? I think it would be fun to slap some on a flat bar and turn my Fuji into hybrid with a basket on the front for grocery store runs. Hamburger buns and tomatoes get smashed in a courier bag.
Also, does one use the same derailleurs with these? Is it just a matter of swapping out the eropower?

Warm regards,

Me

Jack had a set on a bike that I think he sold to Johny.

Rarely but it does happen. I really liked the flat bar setup. Shifting was really sharp and fast. Only problem is their pretty expensive(>400.00) so I nixed them on my recent cross build.

as a cheap way to try it you can buy friction thumb shifters from Rivendell for about $12 and see if the setup is worth investing more$$.

there is a FlatBar specific front derailleur, with a different cage.
but i've not used them, or tried to set them up. I think campy
disco'd the higher end stuff due to lack of sales.

Looks like the only FB groups left are Veloce and below

every poser bike messenger in Portland has installed the flat or riser MTB bar on their rig. I'll look MP just like them.
