is ther such a thing as a 28h or 20h tubular rim with an actual weight of ~300gr? Zipp 303's are there but the cheapest I can find them are $320 each!

Anyone know of a dusty pair of unsold rims getting in the way at their local shop?

Check with Labicicletta.com, they may have some ambrosio crono rims still left in stock, probably not listed on their web page...

I have a pair of Mavic Gel 330 wheels on White Industries hubs (I think 28h front, 32h rear) with Corsa CX TT tires (really light) gathering dust, if you are interested. Not exactly what you asked about, but one never knows.

Its GL330 (not GEL)
the 'GEL' is the GEL280 I believe.. :butt: :fight:

See, that's how dusty they are. Would the "EL" stand for something like "Extra Light", while the "L" is only "Light"?

I think it means hair gel, but not sure....
The GEL280 rim is scary light. I don't know what the -actual- weights were, but I had one once, and its a damn thin rim. I had a GL330 as well, and it was more like the Ambrosio Cronos that I now train on, never any problems with the light weight rims holding up, just need to build them properly.
