Wow, even Rap has it's cheaters. Can't say I'm shocked here, '50 Cent', Timbaland, Wyclef Jean and Mary J. Blige are named. Maybe the best line in the 2002 'State of the Union' address pertained to steroids in society, look at the fallout. Man, what happened to real Rappers, cats like Run, Jam-Master Jay and DMC? All you needed back then was an Adidas sweatsuit, gold chains, a boom box with pockets full of 'D' batteries and some real Rap (today's stuff is lame atmo).

Also, I didn't think that takig HGH and steroids were illegal. I thought that it was a violation of an athletes contract for playing proffessional sports.

An ethics thing rather than a law thing.

Umm, it's very much a Law thingy...illegal without the prescription of an MD.

ROR = Rapping On Roids.

"Is abusing steroids illegal? Yes, it is illegal to use steroids without a valid prescription or to distribute them. Steroids are Schedule III substances under the Controlled Substances Act. Schedule III drugs, which have a legitimate medical function, may lead to moderate to low physical dependence or high psychological dependence."

http://www.justice.gov/ndic/pubs5/5448/index.htm

"Are Steroids Illegal? Yes. Without a doctor's prescription for a medical condition, it's against the law to possess, sell, or distribute anabolic steroids.

Legal prosecution can be a serious side effect of illicit steroid use. Under federal law, first-time simple possession of anabolic steroids carries a maximum penalty of one year in prison and a $1,000 fine. For first-offense trafficking in steroids, the maximum penalty is five years in prison and a fine of $250,000. Second offenses double this penalty. In addition to federal penalties, state laws also prohibit illegal anabolic steroid use."

I completely gave up on Rap, can't stand it now. Here is a 'Miami Vice Music Guide', click on the artist and find out which episode their music aired. Run-DMC was on Vice...

TONS of actors too....
don't forget sly getting busted for growth hormone.
and remember the anti aging regime is growth hormone, steroids, and testosterone... so add the wealthy and superficial to the list as well.

So it is illegal without a perscription. If you are rich, why would you not have a perscription.
You just walk into an anti-aging doctor in Malibu and a get a perscription for 10 k a month? If you google anti-aging clinics there are hundreds that pop-up.

Its not like they are buying this stuff out of a trunk in a dark alley. It would seem that if you had the resources, it is easier to do it legally than illegally.

So to rephrase my statement.

Rich People = Limited soley by financial resources and personal moral codes
Athletes = Limitied by legal contracts, sport ethics and personal moral codes.
High School athlete and middle class bodybuilders = See what the HS footbal coach can get for you. Watch out for the law.

J-Lo was supposedly using human growth hormone too, but the rumor is that that it all went to her arse. Look at the rings under MA's eyes.
