Hy Vee is midwestern grocery store chain where we shop. This was a huge poster in the window that caught my eye today and it was also on the cover of their shopper.

But did the article mention a specific shop?
Either way kudos to the marketing folks at Serotta or the dealer involved.
A nice job of enhancing brand recognition.

Just wondering.

i think product placement like this does much to associate the brand with the dull end of the stick. and if it were my company i'd hit my fingers with a hammer out of frustration.

The bar tape matches her jersey. That's all that counts.

Oh yeah, and I'm gonna wear tights while riding the trainer and drip buckets of sweat on that beautiful, wood floor just like her.

I'd say "who knows, maybe she's an actual rider"
But with that saddle angle...perhaps not.

as a former prop guy...
on a low budget shoot like this..
they have a location, you bring a friends bike, they have a model, you buy and return a trainer at the local bike shop. the shoes eat the budget.

She is on a bicycle. That's a good thing. I similarly like the credit card "rewards points" advertisement where the bicycle follows the guy home.

False advertising! I set up my Serotta on a trainer in my sun room and waited for a whole week - blondie never showed up!

Exactly.
For non-cycling geeks the bicycle doesn't exist. The eye-catching curves used to get your attention aren't the seatstays.........at least for most.

It coulda been a Huffy.
Is this why we are on the Serotta board, because we are so hard to please?

Yeah...I had a fitter watch me pedal and tell me I had a bad case of toedownitis and it had nothing to do with camels and all to do with too large of a bike frame. (Fortunately, they hadn't sold it to me...)
