OT--old shower doors, or new curved bar?

anyone think that old shower doors (sliding kind )are tacky? plus the glass and bottom metal rail are crusted with hard water or whatever.

was thinking of installing those curved shower rods like in hotels that give you more space.

anyone think in terms of prospective buyers that not having sliding doors is bad?

have ditched the foggy doors for a curved rod and are extremely happy. The visits I've had at hotels that sport the same rod, I've been impressed.

Old doors....can also be dangerous.....often the glass is not tempered....and the supports deteriorate....Go with something new and improved. (My two cents)
