Just as I thought.

Bill Richardson is my man. Second is Ron Paul.

I like both of them and the survey confirmed it.

That was interesting but not the slightest bit surprising. I came out furthest from Thompson. I'm not much for crooked setback seat posts either.

What I don't get are "independents" who could imagine voting for candidates whose positions are so dramatically different as are all the Democrats from Republicans. Character counts but it's policy that ultimately manifests in our lives. How I "feel" on a given day of work has nothing to do with what I say and how _that_ impacts what goes on. 'Seems pretty clear to me. But then again, I mix and match parts so maybe I'm an independent. I dunno. Spenser is my candidate with shop cat as his running mate. Atmo is our message!

i think we should avoid politics and just venture in to the grey area of flogging each other for the sake of flogging each other. also, perving on women and crapping on sram... even though sram is cool.

Right, but when you have a bunch of candidates bunched together on policy, it comes down to character. From a character standpoint alone, I'd be happy with McCain, Huckabee, or Thompson, but I'd never vote for any of 'em based on policy. But I could vote for Obama, Hilary, Edwards, or Richardson based on policy, so I have to decide based on who I think has the best chance of actually enacting those policies, which is a character question, no?

I had a few questions that I could answer a couple of different ways. Answer them one way and I come up Richardson (who is almost identical to Edwards and Clinton), answer them another I come up Obama. So it all comes down to character.

There might be an electability issue, but he could overcome some negatives with a good "riding(crop)" mate - draft Betty Page?

I found the result far less interesting than paging through the candidates positions as presented compared to my own. Because, while the silly thing told me I was closest to X, when I looked through the responses by candidate, there were issues that I feel strongly about and those issues were the ones that certain candidates that they said represented me best and I had totally opposite answers.

Back to bikes. Right?
