I am getting a Serotta, but am not sure if I should wait for the 2005 model year. Does anyone know what will be new?

6/4 ti?

they usually change the colors available for paint and decals...

I don't know why, they would go to 6/4 Ti....pricey for dubious performance gains.

Aren't they supposed to try and make the lugs smaller on the Ottrott to get the weight down a bit?

Unless there is a special ride purpose that requires 6/4, I would recommend that ordering now is fine and also probably cheaper. You could talk to Kelly at Serotta to find out more. 6/4 tubing has been being used for a few years by now (other firms such as Litespeed). I will bet you a good bottle of red that Ben and Kelly have chosen not to use 6/4 for other reasons than availability.

Sources said that F3 is currently under prototype testing. Still to be manufactured by Reynolds but a brand new fork/design.

The answer also depends on which model you are interested in. What are you considering?

I've been standing in line here at the factory for my All Carbon Serotta Frame for 6 months so far, I wish they would come out and give me a number or one of those bracelets they hand out for rock concert tickets.

VF, sign me up for a Carbon Serotta...
