I haven't been on here in a year or so.
I'm ready to install another Campy 10 speed chain on my Legend TI.Are people using Campy? Wipperman? Any recomendations?
What works best. I have not had a problem with my Campy chains.
Just curious.

I only use campy chains with a Wiperman Connex link. Easy to install and it works well. When something works, why change it?

unless you like to take your chain on and off alot use a real campy chain. the slightly hour glassed shape of the links helps make shifts faster and smoother than the more squarish wipperman chains. of course the campy box doesn't have the cool picture of some cartoon kid with a eye-brow ring...exactly the image necessary to improve sales of sixty five dollar stainless steel chains.

I use the Campy chain, 1200 miles so far and no problems.

I rode my Campy chain for 2200 miles before replacement..
It was working just fine at the time of replacement.
I believe that here and on roadbikereview.com, you will find reports
of the Wipperman SS chain snapping.

I use a quick connect link to facilitate easy cleaning.

Have had good results on C10 with both Wippermann (not stainless model!) and IRD. I found the Wippermann runs quieter than the Campy chains.
