In the future, we won't have to worry about performance drugs and the lame cover up the organizations use to gloss it over. No, in the future the human element will be removed from bike racing all together. Meet the next tour winner.....

Unfortunately, podium girls in the future talk too much...

+1. You'd think they hadn't seen any number of movies where the robots eventually enslave us.

That robotic rider does a PERFECT trackstand at around the 00:49 part of the video...oh, wait, that's the end of the footage! :D

. . . at least once a month of some new human-looking automaton doing something or the other "new" that seems to have the Japanese enthralled. Here's one shaking hands. Here's one climbing stairs. Here's one that can lean down and pet a robotic dog. But there doesn't seem to be one yet that can put all of these things together. Even Honda has one they've been trotting around. so does Sony.

They are from different companies, but they all look the same, with that all white color scheme and that blocky look. I just don't understand it.

Also, keep in mind that there is absolutely nothing in this clip to offer a sense of scale. Don't assume that's a full sized bike. That robot may be only two feet tall.

Note the track stand the little guy can do. We he first comes around the desk and stops, you can see him correct his balance. Imho, I think the off-shoots of some of the technology that is developed making these guys may have more importance then the robots themselves.

of an early Melonie Griffith movie where she was taking someone to find a replacement female android. Human in every way, subservient, beautiful, no temper, etc. Who would want to be married to anyone like that?
