You guys just have no sense of style!

A hundred bucks? A Stetson or Borsalino can cost you twice as much. That hat would be the envy of everyone at any race or bike shop that saw you wearing it.

Too bad the ad doesn't say what the other three hat types are available.

I personally have a similar hat purchased in the early 80's that I wear all the time. It's 80 wool/20 acrylic and was made by Giordana Sport in Italy. It has the Cinelli logo embroidered in three colors across the bill.

Now go out and get some style!

My winter cap is in the same color bright blue except that it has thin white stripes running horizontally across the back. It has "Campagnolo" embroidered nicely across the front. It's a sweet lid, but I wouldn't pay $100.00 for it.

It might be the envy of everyone at a race or shop (well, at a shop it might be a tip that the contents of the wearer's billfold might be easily extracted), but to nearly everyone else it would be a source of amusement.

Some time back I read that "cycling glasses look increasingly ridiculous in direct proportion to the distance one is from a bicycle." I think it applies to this hat as well. Cab Calloway looked cool in a zoot suit, but I don't think I'll be wearing one to the office anytime soon. Style is one thing - affectation is another.

Regards.

You could try Walz Caps (http://www.walzcaps.com/). If you have a big head like me, they do have large sizes. I also have one of the Kucharick caps (http://www.kucharikclothing.com/winter-headwear-c-52_55.html?osCsid=b973dfeef237a6a36832ca14ba2b9ba7 ). I like its material better than the Walz cap b/c it's softer but the Kucharick doesn't fit by big head, especially if I haven't had a haircut in a while  I've been eyeing the Deller caps for a while and I've heard good things about them.

Look at Serotta (IBEX) wool one.

ALSO MOUNTAIN HARDWARE makes some even warmer ones and they are under $50 (I got one for Christmas.

The caps are made of 50% wool and 50% acrylic material. The font is heavy loop embroidered with a world championship colored button on top. The inside of the cap has a stretchable liner and the ear warmers will keep those nubs toasty warm. The reinforced visor flips like a real cycling cap!

A cap that's only 50% wool is considered a "wool" cap?
