any forum children get anything that you parents just can't put down?
mine got the usual ps3 games but I find myself flying an airhog micro helicopter all the time. well, perhaps flying is a bit strong. I crash more than I don't but slowly am getting the trim set so that I can hover and turn. I think I'm gonna need another one. Helicopter dogfights. we also have a pretty sophisticated air defense system around here. Nerf guns!

Don't have kids but I played guitar hero the other night and couldn't stop. I thought it looked really lame and that I would only play one song. I ended up playing a set and two encores - I chanted my own name, okay

bought the nieces a polly pocket "race to the mall" hot wheels for girls track set with batteries. 3 days later they have gone through a set of batteries and are still playing with it. when i left they had started to build cardboard ramps to drop the cars on the track. they get it.

yeah, I bought three of those havoc helicopters this year. Two for various kids, one for myself, which is already trashed.

I actually just got back from ---mart looking for a replacement (their shelves were all empty). Fun.

My son's Xmas was almost ruined and his belief in Santa was nearly shattered when he didn't get the Nintendo DS he asked for....holy cr@p! Luckily he was able to move on......

I spent most of yesterday putting together Lego Star Wars starfighers....

We have dinner and exchange presents with Mom, Dad, brothers and sisters on Xmas eve. My mom gave a nephew a copy of "Halo 3"...unfortunately, he doesn't have an XBox.....as he is bummed and I am ignorant I chime in with "Don't worry, you'll get the XBox tomorrow." Apparently I nearly ruined the surprise, cuz he was getting the XBox for Xmas.

Back on topic: nothing this year.....but a slot car racing set will be in the cards for 2008! For the kids you know.....;)

Bought a Transfomers slot car set for my son (almost 5) and I have to drag him (us) away from it to eat, go to bed, visit... He asked his granddad to take him home to play with it.

One of my nephews got a remote control helicopter for Xmas....it lasted about 30 minutes....he, his sister and cousin decided it would be fun to plan "King Kong" with it.... ;) I give them an "A" for imagination.
