Anybody ever heard of Karbona?

Seems pretty cheap for this type of wheel, or is it a lot of money for a "cheap" wheel?

They are probably Gigantex rims. They are decent, but don't compare to the better rims out there. Hubs are OK. They are worth what they are being offered for, no more.

did you see the post I had a couple of weeks ago about the Vuelta carbon tubular wheels? If you know anything about them I'd be glad for your thoughts. I don't really need (or want to buy) another set of wheels that are pretty good for 4 or 5 hundred bucks, and I'm not keen to spring 4 figures right now for something much better -- wondered really how the Vuelta 50 mm monocoque (rim) wheels were.

I too would like to know how far away these are form $1000+ carbon wheels?

Hub quality I get, but what differences would there be...ball park it.

Sub 1500 gram wheels?? Somebody must know what they're doing......

Guess the best way to found out if they're legit is to ask someone who's ridden them before so....ahem....good luck with that..... :rolleyes:

i spent 2 years pouring it on a bandana before i was
sent away to a rearing school atmo. all i remember is
the comatosation situation. that stuff cleaned everything
including my memory atmo.
