Cost of tires

So I was looking around on different sites today researching bike stuff. I looked at all the usual sites. However, when I was on Competitive Cyclist, i looked at the Veloflex Carbons they are selling. They were 80+ dollars more per tire than I paid a week ago. That is steep no?
