CX question

The 2007 Serotta brochure described the Concours CX as....... double butted ti....... at $2,750 (no fork, I think).

The 2008 Serotta website describes the Legend CX SE (I emphasise 'SE') as........ straight gauged ti........ at $4,170 (with a fork).

Am I missing something?

An invitation to get a CDA CX? 2670, with your choice of paint, and an Alpha Q CX fork included, with money left over for wheels?

Or maybe the HSG for a grand less than the legend?

Really, I'll bet that they can build the legend to ride the way you want and that it wouldn't feel like a compromise at all, but there are other options.

I would prefer ti.

The HSG ti is double butted...stock, but a grand less than a straight gauge Legend CX SE. Is that 'right'?
