Batteryship.com (http://www.batteryship.com/)
A few days ago, Len J complained about having to send an iPod back and spending $100 to replace the battery, vs. buying a new one. I had assumed the same thing until someone recommended googleing "iPod battery replacement."
I ordered a battery from BatteryShip.com on the 12th and went out of town for a couple days. Got back last night and the battery was on my desk. 20 minutes after opening the package, the iPod's on the charger - it works, the battery is supposed to play twice as long as the original (haven't finished charging it yet). Total cost, including the tool kit and shipping - $17.25. If you're mechanically inclined, you should be able to do it in 10 - 15 minutes instead of 20!
I'm pleased!
They seem to have batteries for just about any conceivable device.
One thing - the instructions are on a PDF you must down load from their web site and aren't included in the package. But, they're excellent - if I can do it, anyone can!
