Mark Baveneau, local ECV rider and cyclocrossworld.com wrench won the B30-39 race today.

With little or no UCI points this year he has been generally starting at the back of fields and finishing near the front.

The parts for my new wheels are waiting at Bay Road Bikes for him to return and build them.

YAHOOO!!! Way to go Bavs !!!!

In the New England Verge series he was always starting in the back row.

Maybe it was series points.

Maybe it was just 'cause he registered late.

All I know is, the guy is just a really nice guy and an awesome up-and-comer.

Does anyone know of a good online site for recent race results? I'd like to check up on a local 14 year old I steered to the local juniors team.

wow a national championship is very special.

I just spoke with coy. he is happy with his effort but he had to run about the entire last lap.

he says the track is extremely heavy and its eating up drivetrains.

they expect 4" of snow tonight.

he says tj.

I know at the USGP in NJ Bav had bib #x68 or something high like that. Within a lap and a half he was top 5 riding with the single digit guys. He's been getting call ups in NE Verge since Sterling at least. He rode well in PDX too. He's definately on good form this year.

I love seeing the NE guys do well in other regions. It makes my heart smile.
