I'm considering switching from Ultegra 9 speed to Choras 10 speed. I'm curious to know what I'll need to replace. So far, I think I need to change: rear cassette, bottom bracket, chain, front and rear derailiures, break levers/shifters.

Will I need to change the hub on the rear wheel and anything else?

Thanks.

Don't forget the frame, Campy will reject any non-Italian, or custom $ frame. ;)

Just kidding of course! Good luck with the switch. You'll be very happy!

You will need a Campy compatible hub or a special conversion cassette that fits on a Shimano hub, but has Campy cog spacing. You'll get the best shifting with a Campy cassette.

If you're on a tight budget, you can probably get by with the Shimano FD.

Now is the time to get a new wheelset. I found a good one with RR1.1 rims, DT mixed spokes and record hubs for about 500 on ebay, from a NYC bike shop. Very nice.

Good riding, Jon

bottom bracket,
You don't need to switch out your BB unless you want to for other reasons.

You can just switch the shifters and use a jtek shiftmate. It works great.

True, the shiftmate #2 would do, if you don't want 10 cogs. Most people switch to get the extra cog.
