Gross titles, sorry.

I'm using a Centaur UT crankset on my carbon Tournesol and a sort of dull bump has developed that is intermittent, but when occurring it's always at the bottom of the non-drive arm's travel. Sounds like it's coming from the bottom bracket shell. I have checked the fixing bolt's tension and it seems fine.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

What about disassembly, through cleaning, and careful reassembly "just for kicks" to see if that solves it? If nothing else, it can't hurt. Perfect fun for a Friday night! :)

SOP:
check cleats -> shoes -> pedals -> crank -> bb -> seatpost -> seat

failing that - torch the sucker and order another

Yeah, that sums it up, don't it? Oh well, no magical enlightenment, but thanks guys. I see what my night entails. . .
