To follow up on Volant's dollar bill thread......I did something similar yesterday although the bill I used was to form a boot to do the job of a failing rim strip. Long story about converting from a Stan's no tube system to a standard clincher setup and too much _sealant residue_ undert the rim strip but I won't bore you with the particulars. Anyway, went to the LBS today to score a pair of Velox strips but all they had were these FSA _belt things_ that they claimed worked well. I didn't want to travel around town looking for the Velox so I bought 'em. They are weird. Anybody have any experience with them? Did I waste $8.24?
