On our ride today Kevan asked me to go steady. I thought he was referring to easing my torrid pace with many sprints but now I'm not so sure. He asked me to take him back to his hotel. How do you handle situations like this when you are together? I am a happily married man, after all. :confused:

You're clearly sending the wrong signals. Look at your language.
