Well I just replaced my chain. At the suggestion of my LBS guru, I replace
my chain about every 2K miles.

Of course this time .... I MUST use the "new and improved" Ultra !! Wow :D
No more old Record. :crap:

So will this chain hold up for 2K miles? :confused:
Any distilled wisdom would be most appreciated.

I have a "quick link" on all my chains so I can easily clean and lube.
Thus I tend to keep chains in nice shape.

Incidentally, my LBS guru hung 3 chains on a nail, high up on his wall.
The new Chorus, my old Record with 2K and his Stronglite, also with 2K.
Hanging the chain up really allows one to witness the stretch.

The Record held up well, but one could see that it had seen better days.
The new Chorus replacement was a good decision.

The Stronglite had stretched like a rubber band !!!!!! Amazing ~~~~ :no:
