I have been searching for that old thread....

Who sells those wide, 25 mm Vittoria Open CXs? If anyone can point me in the right direction, I get paid tomorrow.....

QBP lists scads of them - any shop should be able to order them.

Anybody know where I can get some green Vittoria Pave tires, wholesale? And how can we convince Vittoria to offer these in a 27mm size like they do with the tubular version?

The image on the link say 23, not 25! Not sure if that matters.

Do they really make the tubular in a 27? I have only seen the 24.

Just a warning, I got my third puncture in a week on this on my way home from work. That's not been my typical rate, but they do seem to have a soft compound and pick up things easily.

I'd send an email to sdeals overseas. they list the 23's for around $37 and can probably get the 25's. if you get any more info, please let us know.

Yep, http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/details.asp?D=&Cat=&Section=&GenCode=VITTTUBA1000. H.Frank Beshear has a pair that look great on his Kirk. I'm pretty sure he said his LBS got'em for him.

I have the Open (clincher) version of these but when I looked around previous to ordering, I'm sure I found that they are only available in 24mm, whether tube or clincher?

Very nice tyres made with grippy soft compound but yes, you wouldn't use them as a high mileage choice.

I've had no problems with punctures (knock on wood) but realize that's in part because I tend to only use them for one winter at a time.

EDIT - whoops - my mistake, I was talking about Open Pave's, the 'Roubaix' tyre. They do only come in 24.

I am looking specifically for the one's in the link from Dirtdigger. In 25 mm.

They look like the winner to me.

After Veloflex tubulars of course.....
