I'll be darned. That really does look like you.

Cool pic.

My parents still have all my kiddy pictures. I've sure there are at least a few of me on my tricycle, maybe some on my old english single-speed with rod brakes (not sure of the brand).

Did the lack of standover on that bike have any long term effects?

I'm guessing we're real close in age, and there's no way my tube socks were color coordinated with my shorts and shirt at that time.

HA- I was able to ride that bike until 1995- I sold it then only because I was broke-

I wish I would have kept it

BTW- that frame is a 60x57 :D

60x57!? I never could figure that one out. 57 must have been the longest top tubes came back then...

Dig that outfit. Ya' know, I think I've seen that same expression on Ryan's face...

I'm almost tempted to scan pics of my younger days in honor of Dirt pals coming out picture  . Let's see 1977 I had a perm that was shoulder length or longer and someone took a picture of me in my headgear for wrestling nope not that one. Prom 1978 pea green leisure suit still permed nah cold day in well anyway, Cool picture Jason yer a braver man than I :D. I'm pretty sure in just a few years you'll see the same expression on Ryan's face as well.

another reminder of how old I am. Dirt, in 1982, I was 28 and already working at the job I have now....
This makes me feel really.....um....old.

In 1982, my wife and I bought our first house and our kids had their first birthday (twins). Sigh....

Yeah, those were the days. Fast forward 20 years and I'm paying Serotta 3 grand or so to make me one with almost exactly that geometry now that "square" is in... (roll eyes)

It's cool when there are fun snapshots pulled from the archives. Excellent choice and very bicycle-forum appropriate!
