I just had to post this. Put in someone's cell number to see where they are at this moment. (joke)

sooner or later a real one should appear... I'm pretty sure there was another phase to this fcc req (http://www.wired.com/science/discoveries/news/1998/01/9502) to be able to really pinpoint 911 user locations. I remember working on a project years ago called Location Based Services that would send your phone advertisements to businesses near where you were physically standing.

My phone has more fun than I do.

The technology exists and is in use today. It isn't that accurate (as compared to the accuracy of a GPS receiver). It also depends heavily on the cellular coverage available in the immediately surrounding area.

Won't be long before ALL financial transactions occur thru one's cell phone.

Credit/debit cards will be built into phone and frn cash will be non existent.

You will pay 2-5% to the bank/CC company to access your own frn and not only your transaction but your location will be stored in perpetuity.

But relax, it is for your own protection .....
