Ive got a Ultegra 6600 rear 10sp hub (using 9sp cassettes) and I may in the near future use a cassette with an 11 tooth small cog. Will a Dura Ace 7800 10sp Lock Ring & Spacer work?
thanks,
Ted.

If it's the 11 tooth lockring it should work. Shimano makes separate 12t and 11t lockrings I believe.

several things in your post seem odd. The shimano 6600 wheel sets have a 10 speed specific free hub body. They will not accept 9 speed cassettes because the spline is too deep. What I suspect is you have a set of Ultegra hubs (9/10 sp, not the whr-6600 10 sp specific hubs) that are laced to some other rims, or you have the older ultegra wheel sets with the paired spokes. Regardless, any 10 sp. Dura Ace cassette will work fine with them. Shimano cassettes come with the appropriate lockring for that cassette, unlike Campy where you have to buy a seperate lock ring. Use the lock ring that comes with the cassette any it will work fine. If you are using the 10 sp cassette on an 8/99 sp free hub then use the 1mm spacer that comes with the cassette.
