Powertap 2.4 SL battery life?

Can anyone tell me about the average batt life of the wireless SL? How difficult is it to change batteries? I'm trying to decide between the wired and wireless.

I have been changing mine every 6 to 8 months with about 10-12 hours of use per week (I have an older wired unit about 2 years old). I bring my wheel into my local shop who are nice enough to change them out while I wait.

Get the replacement batteries at Radio Shack, where you get a discount when you buy in bulk.

I have on older power-tap pro and have had to change the batteries four or five times. It is a 10 minute process that you can do on your own.

go wireless, I have had over four thousand miles easy before a battery change, plus - whats better than no wires
