Wow...All the kind words. You seem to have mistaken me for someone else? Thanks so much for all the warm thoughts!

The day is turning out very well. Left the house at 10:30am on the bike in the mild sprinkles, stopped at the bakery, several jewelry stores, and a bike shop and *still* got some nice miles in in the cold rain. Now I'm home (at 4) for tea and toast and a warm shower and a nap before a friend takes me out to an italian restaurant in the area that makes gluten free italian food!
All birthdays should be on Saturday! I will say that today reminded me of a friend who told me that: You don't have to train outside in temps that are lower than your age...the 36-38 degrees in the rain was "not bad" :)

I feel very fortunate to have met so many of you all across the country and to have become friends and riding buddies with so many of you. I hope to see you all again soon to share some riding and perhaps even some wine!
