Hello Folks.
I'm looking for some info and/or pictures of a De Rosa Primato steel frame set.
This is a all red frame with white De Rosa name on the down tube and it does not have any white paint on the seat tube or head tube like the current model.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
Andrew

That was from 2002. It had a carbon fork back then.

Thanks Grant.
The frame I saw today looks exactly like that one, I could not pull up any spec on this model or any other pictures. How much should I expect to pay for this frame? it is a NOS.

a new one is $1800, only you can decide what a NOS one is worth to you.
maybe more, maybe less, depends on how much you want it.

for comparison, an Eddy Merckx 7/11 ltd edtion is $1600

There is so much RIGHT about a lugged steel, Ferrari -red DeRosa..... It just might be the cultural high point of western civilisation....

Word. It's tempting to get one, get rid of the rest of the bikes and be done with it.

Wrenchscience makes is so tempting.

I hear ya. I'd prolly get a Zanc or Kirk though. Or a Serotta C d'A. if they made a steel fork.

h e l l

get the cda

tell the bike shop you don't want a fork

have em knock some price off

have a good cat make you a steel fork

send it to serotta for paint

in the end, you get what you want

do that only if you're a pseudo gourmet prick like me
