For whatever reason I want a flight suit.

Will this (http://www.bdu.com/F511546001.html) suit keep me relatively warm if I wear long underwear underneath it?

Also. Does "34" mean waist size? The sizing chart linked to the listing does not properly correspond with the full body suit. If 34 is the waist size, will I be swimming in this thing as I am normally a size 30?

Serious,
Flux

Hopefully the heat and flame-resistant meta-aramid fibers will also prove handy.
Dupont is the technology company behind lots of great things, such as Nomex. Good luck with the purchase.

just watch the cameltoe. it can't feel good if its a tight fit and you don't want to split the little fellas.

I've worn flight suits for 19 years. There are some nice things about them, but keeping you warm or cool is not one of them. In the Army we used to call Nomex the wonder fabric. It keeps you hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

If you need the nomex properties, wear something underneath. The insulation helps as much as the nomex in a fire. Never wear synthetic type undies though. You really don't want your undie to melt to your goodies.

If you don't need the fire resistant qualities of Nomex find a cotton/poly blend. They are much more comfy.

The size refers to chest size. They usually come in short, reg, tall.

My company buys from these guys. http://www.aureusinternational.com/
Pretty good customer service, but we are buying in bulk.
