I wasn't a big fan of his, but I watched 'Hell on Wheels' (a movie Handsomerob now owns but refuses to watch :confused: ) and gained much respect for Zabel.

guy just loves to race. finishes the road season and hits the 6 Day Circuit.
really nice guy too. Has a personal collection that has turned into a bike museum. Buys bikes off racers (including WC cx) just to have them.
I'm suprised he doesn't have an twizzler atmo

His knack for coming in second is uncanny, though.

His knack for coming in second is uncanny, though.I agree completely, although consistently finishing second at his age is nothing short of miraculous. To still be a threat in the spring classics, finish two grand tours per year, and sprint with the best young riders on a regular basis - that man's a pro.
