Hi all,

I am helping "BigMan" aka Henry sell his frameset. The only reason he is selling it is because he has waaaay too many bikes and this one never even got built up. Its been sitting in a box in the corner of his garage for close to a year. The original owner said he rode it less than a 1,000 miles and from the looks of, it shows that.

I have seen this bike and it is really beautiful! I also own one and find the ride and aesthetics to be simply amazing.

The Carbonissimo was a limited edition, full monocoque frame that was built in conjuncture with Ferrari. It is one of the few truly monocoque frames ever built. It is truly a one of a kind bike and very rare.

He is selling frame (Carbonissimo in size 62) fork (Star) and headset (Colnago). The finish has a few minor scratches (pictures available upon request).

Here is the way mine looks all built up:

Geometry specs:

Seat tube:58.2

Top Tube: 58.5

STA: 73*

Headtbe: 18.5

Chainstay: 41.1

HTA: 73.4

There used to be a great write up of this frame on the Competitive Cyclist website. Brendan must have taken it down to free up bandwith.

I have found a couple great reviews on RBR. Here they are:

That is tempting!!! How tall should you be for this frame? It's heavy, yes? Too stiff for 180 lb-er?

6' through about 6' 4"

180 is fine.

What heavy? Frame is probably about 3 pounds.

Not too stiff. You'll be fine. Very nice FAST ride.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thanks,

Steve

I sincerely have to agree! If I wasn't 'out of the biz', I'd be all over at least one of these.

I absolutely agree. Both are too nice not to be built up and ridden.
