Hey Doc Doofus, remember Erik Vanderaerden 87 Paris Roubaix pulling wheelies at the start like the Ausies are doing at the TDF this year? Memories...Did your team go to watch that year? We made it around to most of the races there, even the ones we weren't allowed to start in (which was most, as an amateur...)

I do remember (from low-fidelity converted tapes) how there was a lot of negative racing to keep EV from taking it, then he won the sprint anyway...and then his rear wheel flatted about 100m after the finish...

he was a super, super talent...by all accounts a childish a-hole, however....
