Yes but any time I'm floating on a board and I see a turtle, I'm waiting for a bull or tiger shark to snack on it. Dolphins are like Labrador Retrievers; in fact if you shave a newborn Retriever and toss it in the ocean, it turns into a dolphin. ATMO.

on PBS the "Nova" episode involving two scientists working with blue and mako sharks, trying to determine their intelligence among other things. It was on last night. The scenes with the mako are simply remarkable. And that guy scooping them out of the water in order to measure them is freakin' out of his mind.

that happens fairly often, both with dolphins AND sharks.

the dolphins are more social though, and will check you out. the sharks don't care unless they're hungry.
