Yes. I found a Kraftwerk 'Tour de France Soundtracks' cd in the used section of my kewl cd store. I know there are 76 more available on Amazon, but I WILL trade my $8.99 cd (which I had to buy) for a 56cm Sach's frame (in a Molteni color scheme). Phil Leggett and Paul Sherwen already left me a voicemail. E-Richie ought to hurry up, atmo.

You know you want some Kraftwerk. Indoor training starts soon, yer iPod needs some Tour day France German-techno ala 1975. If you'll send a 55.5 c-c square, in Molteni color, lugged...heck, I'll even throw in a woven basket and some Lubriderm.

To sweeten the deal, I have a 6'5" Viking from California who will give you a hug...and I'll toss in a photo of these cats:

I've got the 12" vinyl single. That should be worth, what, a previously-owned cyclocross frame?

We used to breakdance to that song back in the day. It was huge.

For reals.

. . . to learn what the music was the WCP used on their TdF DVD from 2003. As a prologue to one of the later stages, they did a montage of various shots of the peloton speeding through the countryside with helicopters following them. The music was absolutely awesome but I've never been able to find out what it was. I e-mailed WCP and got some vague reply with no follow-up.

We have a date already set... 5/3/08. VIPER came all the way from NY for our little shin dig. A bunch of buddies and myself made the trek from Memphis last year and will be back, however mere mention of an e-RiCHIE appearance could incite a riot.

Lee Majors* changed the way we looked at orange sweat suits and Adidas track sneakers, the man studied (and nearly mastered atmo) Clint Eastwood's ability to squint; Colonel Steve Austin was one of the finest squinters. YET, all of this pales in comparison to 'the' Viking moment of last century, 'The Norseman'.

My only fear is this movie is not available on DVD. I proudly own a VHS (and will lend it to E-Richie, if he will make me a 55.5 c-c square, Molteni color, lugged steel).

* = It's very easy to make fun of Lee Majors as Chuck Norris was the one who took over the internet, sure; but who can say they pwned the big screen as 'The Norseman', went onto hit up Farrah Fawcett in her prime, hit up Lindsey Wagner, the 'Six Million Dollar Vikingess' and also went mano y mano with Big Foot? Talk about a career, we should all be so lucky, the man even partied with Elvis FTW.

you think you're Thor, last gal was so thor she could barely walk.

I'm still looking for a few good men to fill the halls of Valhalla

don't believe the hype, it's just a recruiting tool for the battle at the end of times.

I'm gonna skewer Loki if it frickin kills me, which will be twice

die honorably in battle today so you can die honorably a second time

didn't somebody do a movie about dying twice?

richie, I'll hold some Valkyries for ya

I met John Cusak at Roseland's in NYC, November 15th, 1993. The Breeders were opening up for Nirvana. John Cusak was in a VIP Section, it was elevated but not near the stage. From the stage area I spotted what I thought was Cusak; how could he be wearing an overcoat, it made no sense. I mean if you wanna be discret, why the heck wear a raincoat or an overcoat if you're John friggin Cusak. So...from 75 feet away I screamed, "I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS" until he finally looked at me. I then yelled, "SHE'S GONE. I GAVE HER MY HEART AND SHE GAVE ME A PEN." He smirked, gave me the finger and we both laughed. I walked over to him and got his autograph.

Used to watch WOF when Vanna was hot, now, not any more. Alex Trabek makes me sick, the man is more arrogant than Tyrell Owens. Things can't be the same without Richard Dawson, high on vodka and nicotine, grabbing some butt while screaming, "AND THE SURVEY SAYS..."
