I have just met a guy who is unloading a grey/black Look KG461 for about $300 with a Look fork, FSA HS and a WCS Ritchey post. It is apparently practically new. This sounds like a good deal and could be a great opportunity to stop criticizing carbon and actually give it a try.

What do people think of these frames? Are they nice? It is a 58cm and I weigh 195lbs. I do not reace - just ride for the love of it! Am I too heavy?

Thanks for your replies...

I have a Look 361, previous iteration. Great frame. Stiff, yet rides well. Not the lightest carbon out there, if that's what really matters to you (hope not...)

That's a very good price!

For $300, you can't go wrong. The fork alone (HSC4 or 5) is worth that. Here's my former 461; it rides beautifully and has a fantastic finish.

He described the colours the same as yours. He said it was almost new, as it was too big for him but could not be returned or exchanged.

It looks cool in built form!

Reread your post. You're not too heavy and the nominal sizing does not include a 58; here's a chart:
2005 Look 461 Geometry
Size ST(c-c) TT SA HTL Head Angle
49 Slope 45.3 51.0 74.5 9.9 72
51 Slope 46.8 52.5 74.5 12.0 72
53 Slope 51.0 54.0 73.5 14.3 72
55 Slope 52.0 55.5 73.5 15.1 73
57 57.0 57.5 72.5 17.0 73
59 59.0 58.0 72.5 19.3 73
61 61.0 59.0 72.5 21.0 73

The one pictured above is a 59.
