I must try to live down my name so have decided that some of the horde must go;

Dancelli frame and fork - columbus MAX tubing 56

Merckx Corsa SL - 55

Colnago Mexico - 56 - rough - needs repaint.

Cramerotti Rosso - 54.4 Dedacciai Zero.

All of these will be frame and fork ( maybe BB as well) $450 apiece.

I also might sell the Merckx Titanium AX ( I think I am just too heavy for it) - frame, fork ( steel and carbon) and headset - $600.

( I should probably ask more but ............)

PM me if any interest.

Deserves an epoch song with apologies to Pete Seeger and everyone else.....

To everything (churn, churn, churn)
There is a season (churn, churn, churn)
And a time for every cycle, under Paypal

A time to Ebay, a time to sell
A time to buy, a time to catch hell
A time to box, no place to keep
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To everything (churn, churn, churn)
There is a season (churn, churn, churn)
And a time for every cycle, under Paypal

A time to build up, a time to break down
A time for a fork, no time for a Wound
A time to cast away frames, a time to gather frames together

To everything (churn, churn, churn)
There is a season (churn, churn, churn)
And a time for every cycle, under Paypal

A time of steel, a time of ti
A time for a Merckx, no time for a tri
A time to beg spouse, a time to refrain from begging

To everything (churn, churn, churn)
There is a season (churn, churn, churn)
And a time for every cycle, under Paypal

A time to gain weight, a time to lose
A time to break spoke, a time to lube
A time to love lugs, a time for a broom
A time for Strong, I swear there is more room....

I'm also interested in the measurements of the ti frame.

I have a cinelli supercorsa that is just a bit too big for me and I'm looking to get something equally classy when I sell it. So it would go to a loving home.

Would love to see this bike. Also, what are the dimensions?

Thanks.

Any pictures of the Merckx? Any idea of its age?

The Max stays are almost square at the seat lug.....they did some wicked cool work to get them to blend like they did.

Not familiar with this builder. Any insight?

Thanks,

Stephen

I'm not sure who the builder is - best bet is either Merckx or Colnago under contract.

Michele Dancelli was a member of the Molteni team, rode for Merckx as a road captian.

His most famous win was the Milan - San Remo, on a Colnago. The Dancelli family symbol was Clover leaf which was adopted by Colnago in honour of Dancelli's win in the San Remo on board a Colnago.

I am not a Columbus Max expert, but I do know that Eddy changed the orientation of the ovalizing on several of the tubes and thus uses different lugs. Take a look at the seat lug on an MX Leader and compare it to this one or most other Max frames. An MX Leader has a pretty much normal looking seat lug as the ovalizing is vertical there rather than horizontal. I think most/all Max frame sets are pretty neat, but the MX Leader IS a bit different.
