I'd be willing to drive a reasonable distance. BTW I'm 60 miles straight north of Pensacola, FL. I keep trying to fit myself and all I'm doing is wasting money on frames I'm not happy with. Besides I'm not comfortable with taking my measurements and neither is the wife for some strange reason. So any recommendations?

Thanks!

You can probably catch one of the cheap flights to national in DC and have Smiley fit you. I know it is a distance but once you hae the measurements dialed in you are set.

If you get to Raleigh/Cary NC the Spincycle in Cary is great. (have Matt do it) www.thespincycle.com.

Fare is probably cheaper to DC and he might even be able to get a loaner for you to ride for a day.

Come on over to Tallahassee and see Ed Holt at Sunshine Cycles. Ed is a
fit-specialist trained at Serotta. I handle the apparel in the store and Ed has been my mechanic for over 7 years. He did a fit on me for my Legend Ti...I love my bike! :) :)

Tallahassee could be a day trip for you. I think  Pensacola is approximately 3-3.5 hours west of us on I-10. Give a call and we'll set an appointment for you. 850-422-1075

Check out Chad at the Bicycle Link in Atlanta. 404-233-4103. I believe they are the only Serotta dealer in Atlanta. My experience there was great. Worth every penny. I could've saved myself a lot of discomfort in the past had I been fitted earlier.

Thanks guys and gal! Looks like Tallahassee is the best bet distance wise. I'll call Monday and set up a time with Ed. As for what not to wear as long as I can still wear my ATB baggies and not shave my legs that's cool. My weekend riding buddies say I can gain a mile an hour by ditching the shorts.

Then again they don't live and ride where I do during the week. Things are a little different as soon as you cross the Alabama line...

pale scotsman...any idea when you are coming to Sunshine this week? I'm in and out of the store, but would like to be there when you come in for the fit.

I've got a few ATB baggies on hand right now, but unfortunately (fortunately) no BBDave apparel...!

Look forward to your visit to the bike shop.

Thanks Smiley... :D
