My kids got lots of candy and I got a little candy and a box of spooky sea smoke.

How about y'all?

I thought I'd get MORE trick-or-treaters this year because it's light an hour later. But I was home with the porch light on by 6:15 and have had exactly eight so far . . . and by this time I don't think I'm going to get any more. Eight is way fewer than two years ago. Don't know about last year, since I went out on a ride.

Well, I guess that validates my logic of always buying candy that I like, cuz' I got plenty of it left over now!

Nestle's Crunch, anyone? . . . :p

Our neighborhood was hoppin' this Halloween. Kids averaged too much in their haul, so they'll be sorting the loot tomorrow, with the rest going to the food bank as usual. Sounds a bit twisted, doesn't it.

If we get 200 kids, we get off easy. Luckily it is raining, so it might be an easy night. We got candy that we dont really like, so the temptation to eat too much will be diminished.

We had eight max. Seems to be less and less each year.

We used to have 200-250. I put a photo of Kevan on the front door. :)

We have a place in a new 'hood. Bought a big huge bowl of candy and ONE person came. It's gotta go to the office or my BMI will be through the roof in a few days...

I'll relate just one...we hear "bang bang bang" on the front door...go to see and it is someone completely covered in a sheet all hunched over with a pillow case on their head kinda looks Klan'ish and ONE VERY GRISSLED finger poking out!!! ***??? It was our extra senior neighbor playing dress up...she got us good. We gave her candy.

Kirk, that's a GREAT photo. The "Beekeeper" is a nice touch too, it really completes the deal.

It was my eldest's fourth birthday as well!

Oh, and my wife made all the costumes!
