Just looking for some longer term feedback on the UL now that the recall has been handled and that good UL forks should have been in folks' hands for a good while.

How is it compared to the venerable Ouzo Pro? How is the new steerer tube plug working out? It seems like a better design that the old plug.

I have one but Reynolds pooched up the recall for me and I have only just got it in my hands. They originally sent out a replacement with the wrong rake, and tried to blame me for it! NO, a 43mm rake fork won't "do" on a frame designed for a 50mm rake!!

Are the folks that have them still happy with them?

Thanks,
Geoff

I replaced my Ouzo Pro, that was hit by a car, with the UL about a two months ago. It is the post-recall model without the gray stripe. Tom Kellogg told me it was just as strong, maybe more so, but also a bit stiffer. At first it seemed to handle a touch better during high-speed turns but this may be my imagination. Now, it just gets on with it's forky business and never makes it presence known. Can't ask for more IMO.
