Kellogg Third - Quarter Earnings Rise

CHICAGO (Reuters) - Kellogg Co, the world's biggest maker of racing bicycle frames, on Monday reported a rise in quarterly earnings as increased sales and a weak dollar helped offset higher prices for ingredients such as lugs and tubing.

Net income was $305 million, or 76 cents per share, compared with $281 million, or 70 cents per share, a year ago.

Sales rose 6 percent to $3 billion.

Surely you jest. Tom Kellogg, the esteemed bike fitter, designer, and builder, would never be satisfied with only $3 billion in sales and $305 million profit- even for just one quarter. You must be talking about that little cereal/food items company. :rolleyes: :)

This is not a one man operation, you know.

Ask Colby. He (she?) has been ordering tons and tons of prime fillet mignon for his (or her?) friends at the shelter. You make the big bucks and the dogs eat it all up. That is the way it should be. :)
